Kentucky Coffeetree

The Kentucky Coffeetree features greenish-white flowers that appear in late spring; rough, scaly, gray-brown bark; and large, bi-pinnate compound leaves. It prefers moist soil and full direct sunlight, but is adaptable to many conditions like salt and drought. It produces long and leathery seed pods that will add interest year round. Kentucky Coffeetree has no serious problems, but litter can be a nuisance when pods start to fall in the spring.
