Cutleaf Weeping Birch

The Cutleaf Weeping Birch tree is a tall, slender tree that grows into a pyramidal shape with graceful, drooping branches and white bark on old wood. It boasts green cutleaf foliage that turns a beautiful yellow color in the fall. This tree will bring year round interest as the bark is brown in youth and matures into a grayish white bark. To help prevent leaves from drying out, a layer of mulch spread around the trunk, or possible perennial ground cover could be planted to shade the root system. This is a great tree to add to any lawn or public parks.
