Pussy Willow

$49.00

One of the first plants to break bud in late winter or early spring. Its a true sign that spring is coming. It’s the hardiest of the pussy willows. Large shrub or small tree up to 20 feet with silvery catkins appearing before leaves. Deep brown branches. Only male trees produce these catkins. Pussy Willows like constant moisture and full to part sun. Plant away from sewer lines, water lines and septic tanks, like most willows there roots will spread.
