Instructional Care for your type of Hanging Basket:
Full sun and Petunia baskets: requires 6+ hours of direct sunlight. Water heavily letting the water drain out. Never allow soil to be continually wet, dry out between watering but don’t let your plant to wilt. During the summer hot months, baskets may need to be watered up to 2 times a day. Periodic deadheading and pinching may be necessary for some flowers to encourage branching and to keep them full looking. In addition to the slow fertilizer that was added when we planted them, plants will require weekly fertilizing for continual blooming.

All annuals are sensitive to harsh cold weather and will need to be protected from the elements. Watering and fertilizing your annuals will give you continued growth throughout the growing season. If your plant is over or under watered there is a chance for rotting or sever drying out which will cause your plant added stress. Plant may rebound from this but will take time.
